An announcement by the museum outlines eight shows or gallery rotations currently on view, plus another 14 scheduled between now and the summer of 2022, of which five have not been previously announced. The museum’s advance look at its exhibition schedule shows that the once-conservative institution is shifting toward a greater emphasis on modern and contemporary art, and on work by African-American artists.
