La Fundación Louis Vuitton presentará La colección Morozov , una de las muestras de arte moderno e impresionista más importantes del mundo
Desde el 22 de septiembre la exposición reunirá en París un total de 200 obras maestras de la colección de los hermanos Mikhaïl e Ivan Morozov. El mar en Sainte-Marie de Vincent Van Gogh (1888), presente en la exposición que inaugurará la Fundación Louis Vuitton.

A principios del siglo XX, los hermanos Morozov se convirtieron en un eje fundamental de la vida cultural de Moscú gracias a su afán por dar reconocimiento a los artistas franceses que protagonizaron la nueva pintura occidental. Mikhaïl Abramovich Morozov (1870-1903) e Ivan Abramovich Morozov (1871-1921), forjaron el concepto de mecenas de arte de la vanguardia pictórica de principios del siglo XX, junto con nombres como el de Serguéi Shchukin, uno de los mayores coleccionistas de arte moderno de la época.

ST. MARTINVILLE â The Acadian Memorial and Museum in St. Martinville is not reopening its doors anytime soon. In June the city council finalized the budget for 2021 fiscal year, but the funds were not there for the museum. We asked every department to take the knife and trim what could be trimmed, District 1 Councilman Mike Fuselier said.
The museum opened its doors in 1996 as a place to learn about the Cajun heritage. We needed to tell our history and our stories to the Cajuns that live here and never even had an inkling about their genealogy, Brenda Trahan said.
You might think that Salvador Dalí’s life was all lobster phones and wild dinner parties (with even wilder food and surrealist wine selections on offer). That wasn’t always the case, however, and a new show captures the artist in a more intimate light, working and relaxing at home in Spain.
Appropriately titled
Dalí, the show at the Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida includes portraits from a diverse group of friends and photographers that were granted rare access to the surrealist’s life. Contributors include fashion photographer Horst. P. Horst, Ricardo Sans, Melitó Casals, Lies Wiegman, and Dalí’s biographer, Robert Descharnes.

The Surrealist couple’s soirees are the stuff of legend. Elaborately staged costumes were a must, with guests and hosts decked out in all manner of concoctions.
