The Outlander shares a platform with parent company Nissan’s Rogue, which means it may be powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder producing 181 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque.
Other engine options could include a 2.4-litre four-cylinder paired with a hybrid system; or perhaps plug-in hybrid tech.
The 2022 Outlander will make its global debut on Tuesday, February 16 at 6:00 pm EST.
