Carroll, ESC and Audubon Girls Win on Tuesday, Area Teams go 3-3 (Full Scoreboard)

Carroll was down by 6 at the end of the 1 st quarter and trailed by 8 at half. The rally began early in the 4 th wen then Tigers scored 4 points in 4 seconds to cut the deficit to 41-36. The gap closed to 48-46 when Carroll scored with 2:35 to play. The Carroll defense needed to make another play and did causing a Wildcat turnover with 22 seconds left and Caroll up 2. Carroll was down by as many as 14 when the defense began to force turnovers helping to ignite the rally.

CRB Girls Rally in 4th, Glidden Ralston Girls Fall on the Road on Monday

st Coon Rapids Bayard 48   The Crusaders played their best game of the year and used an 18-0 run to start the 4 th quarter to pick up their 5 th win of the season. The run to start the 4 th quarter answered a spurt at the end of the 3 rd that had Grand View Christian up by 5. The Thunder scored the final 6 points of the 3 rd quarter on back to back 3’s to rally after Coon Rapids Bayard led by 6 at half. Brynn Bass was huge in the 1 st half with 3-3’s and 14 points. She helped spark the 4 th quarter rally after Miranda Garcia blocked a 3 point shot and Alaya Betts rebounded and kicked it ahead to Bass who spun between a pair of defenders for the layup. Bass then blocked a 3 point attempt and Miranda Garcia pulled down the rebound which led to a 3 from Mia Leighty who hit back to back 3’s. Garcia was huge on defense, taking a pair of charges.

Tough 3rd Quarter Derails Glidden Ralston Boys on Monday
