Sheru, who hails from the Maldives, and who is in the Maldives, at the moment, says that she misses Sri Lanka, and the music scene, in Colombo, very much. The dynamic singer, who spends most of her time, in Sri Lanka, had a good thing going for her in the music scene here, performing with some of our top outfits. And, when she launched her solo career, she was in great demand. Unfortunately, the pandemic ended in all and Sheru left for the Maldives, where her brother is the Vice-President, to continue with her singing career. She now performs at a tourist resort, along with a Maldivian keyboardist.
