2021-2022 Virtual Instruction Program Information and Commitment Forms
TESD is currently planning for 5 days/week of in-person instruction for the 2021-2022 school year. On May 27, TESD hosted a Virtual Instruction Program Information Night to provide details about a pilot program for families who may be interested in a virtual option for the 2021-2022 school year. The goals of the Virtual Instruction Program are to:
Provide variety in instructional delivery methods to meet the various learning preferences of students.
Provide students and families greater control over their daily schedule.
Prepare students to succeed in various instructional delivery methods that they may experience in the future.

The four MBA programs at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School have been awarded STEM designation.

All MBA students in all four programs will now graduate with a STEM-designated degree.
The four MBA programs received the STEM designation after the UNC System reviewed and approved UNC Kenan-Flagler’s request to change the program’s classification using the Instructional Program (CIP) code of the National Education Statistics.
PSU clarifies program discontinuation recommendations

PITTSBURG, Kan. Last week, Pittsburg State University announced its recommendations to the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) on the future of various academic programs including recommendations to discontinue several of them.
On Monday, the university issued a revised press release “that better explains the situation and gives a more complete look at the changes,” it said, noting that its announcement last Friday “led to many questions and concerns.”
Out of 25 of PSU’s “programs” a word that was changed to “majors/emphases/degrees” in the updated release “that have been identified in the past year as having a low enrollment and a small number of annual graduates,” the original release said, “the following are on the list to discontinue: Graphic Design; Clinical Science/Medical Lab Tech; Spanish Language and Literature; Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and History; and Teac

That’s something that Binghamton University alumna Mona Kareem knows well. She first published her poetry as a teenager in Kuwait, and has continued to write in both English and Arabic. After earning her master’s and then her PhD in comparative literature, she has also gone on to translate the work of other authors, and recently received a prestigious National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Fellowship in Literature Translation.
