Updated: 6:35 PM EDT Jul 18, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired in Burlington Sunday afternoon.Police responded to the 2000 block of Morningside Drive just before 2 p.m. in reference to multiple reports of shots fired.Officers say so far, investigation has revealed multiple people were involved in the shooting. At this time, officers don t believe anyone was hurt during the incident, but several buildings were struck.Police say the shooting was not random and believe it was related to other shootings that have happened throughout Alamance County.Officers are asking for the public s help in this case. Burlington: Woman charged, teenager injured in shooting

Updated: 12:56 PM EDT May 6, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff A 34-year-old woman was charged after an accidental shooting of a teenager in Burlington Wednesday.Police said Sade Michelle Robinson was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and failure to store a firearm to protect a minor. She was released on $10,000 bail. Police responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex on the 1500 block of South Mebane Street around 12:40 p.m. They found a boy suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said. The 15-year-old was conscious and transported to a local hospital for treatment.Officers believe the shooting was an accident involving at least two other minors in an adjacent apartment.The gun that was used has been recovered and is in the custody of law enforcement.The investigation is ongoing.Anyone with information about this investigation can call the Burlington Police Department at 336-229-3500 or Alamance County-Wide Crimestoppers at 336-229-7100.
