A second COVID-19 vaccination site will open Thursday Feb. 4 at 2363 Corporation Parkway in the Burlington Manufacturers’ Outlet Center for people 65 and older.
Cone Health, the hospital network including Alamance Regional Medical Center, will administer vaccinations from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Sunday, according to a Cone Health news release.
Vaccinations are by appointment only and there is already a wait list because of an interruption in Cone’s supply of vaccine from the state last week. To get onto the waiting list go to conehealth.com/vaccine, or text “VACCINE” to 88453 or call 336-890-1188.
Those on the wait list will be notified when appointments are available. Ideally, those with Alamance County addresses will get their appointments in Burlington rather than Greensboro.

âAnother truth: the vaccines are safe and effective. We need to get vaccines into arms as quickly and equitably as possible. It remains our top priority.â
