The group also forwarded the proposal listing the candidates they are supporting – all public servants with significant experience to Gov. Gavin Newsom. “We are in a unique position to know, understand, and recommend one of our own members to serve as the next California Attorney General. We strongly urge the Legislative Black Caucus to consider the above three candidates and to interview them for recommendation to Governor Newsom,” Melinda Murray, president of CABL, stated in the letter dated Dec. 23.

In her letter, Michaela s mother wrote in the past year she had come to a place of accepting that Michaela was probably no longer alive. I feel as though I am still looking for Michaela, but now I don t know where. I honestly feel lost in the dark, wrote Garecht s mother.
