Idaho Governor Brad Little joined 19 other state governors in signing a letter to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris urging them to take immediate action to secure the United States-Mexico border.
In the letter, the governors noted a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol report of a “staggering surge” in recent illegal border crossings, including 172,000 encounters just in March – the highest in 20 years – and close to 19,000 unaccompanied children.
