The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) president made an announcement today.
It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that Perin Saint Ange, the current Director of the Eastern and Southern Africa Division (ESA), has agreed to become the Director of the Office of the President and Vice-President and Chief of Staff. Perin will take up his new responsibilities effective 1 February 2015.
Perin has had a long and successful career, both within IFAD, FAO and in the external public and private sectors. Perin joined IFAD in 1998 as a Country Portfolio Manager in what was then the Africa I division, going on to become a Country Programme Manager and then a Loans Officer in the Office of the Controller. WINDOW ROCK, AZ-The Navajo Nation held job fairs to help fill positions as the second phase of the Cares Act has been approved.
The Office of the Controller will reopen the Cares Act Hardship applications on Aug. 1 for those Navajo Nation members, who did not apply for relief funds last year. We will be hiring local people to help us implement the phase 2 hardship assistance, we already scheduled job fairs, said Navajo Nation acting Controller, Elizabeth Begay.
Last year, the Navajo Nation received funding from the Cares Act hardship program and its proved to be helpful for some.
