AVON, N.Y. (WHEC) The Livingston County Sheriffs Office Thursday announced the arrest of a man on numerous child sex abuse charges, with accused offenses dating back to the 1980s.
In a release, deputies say they arrested and charged Frank Wright, 75 of Allegany County last Thursday.
INITIAL CALL REVEALS SURVIVORS
On October 5, 2020, deputies went to a home in the Village of Avon for the report of sexual abuse that occurred when the caller was a young child. The caller told deputies she was sexually abused in the late 1990s by an individual who was known to her.

BEACH PARK, Ill. - Prosecutors may seek a sentence of life in prison for a 34-year-old
Timothy D. Triplett Jr., 34, was indicted on Wednesday on
murder charges for the shooting death of Carlos Rodas Perez and Mercedes Rodas.
Triplett is being held in Lake County Jail with bail set at $5 million and is scheduled for arraignment Monday at 9 a.m.
Triplett was arrested in January following an investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
On January 25th, 2021, Haralson County Sheriff’s Office and Bremen Police Department investigators were continuing to pursue possible leads in the on-going manhunt for murder suspect Christian Taylor Davis. One of many tips had been received by Haralson County Sheriff Stacy Williams, indicating a possible address where Davis was intentionally being concealed from law enforcement by the residents. At approximately 11:00 am, investigators arrived at the residence, which is located within the Felton community of Haralson County.
As investigators made contact with one of the occupants at the front door, murder suspect Davis attempted to flee out of a secondary exit of the residence. Davis was quickly apprehended by law enforcement without further incident. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and upon execution of the warrant, several firearms and a quantity of suspected methamphetamines were located within. Shooting that killed man outside motorcycle club ruled justified
The investigation into the officer-involved shooting which occurred on January 17 at 1130 International Parkway has been completed.
The investigation was conducted by detectives with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. The completed investigation was subsequently turned over to the Stafford County Commonwealth’s Attorney for review. The Commonwealth’s Attorney was provided all the evidence collected, including witness statements, forensic evidence, and audio and video recordings.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Eric L. Olsen announced today their Office has determined the shooting of the suspect by the deputies was justified in self-defense and/or in defense of others.
