More cadre revolt in TD over decision to boycott parishad elections

VIJAYAWADA: Revolt within the Telugu Desam has been expanding to several parts of the state on Saturday after TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu announcement that TDP will boycott MPTC and ZPTC elections objecting to violation of norms by ruling YSR Congress.
Within 24 hours, several leaders have openly opposed the boycott decision. They asserted that they will take a decision on the issue according to wishes of local cadres and leaders.

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urged all the eligible people who are aged above 45 years to get vaccinated and stated that the state-wide vaccination programme will be completed in 90 days. Leading from the front, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his wife YS Bharathi, on Thursday, had taken COVID vaccine at 140th Ward Secretariat at Bharatpet in Guntur district.
The Chief Minister who was in the city to launch the vaccination process reiterated that coexistence with COVID is inevitable and that vaccination is the only way to prevent infection.

Guntur, April 1 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife Y.S. Bharathi took the coronavirus vaccine on Thursday in Guntur town and initiated the statewide vaccination programme.
Setting an example for the need to get vaccinated, the Reddys underwent inoculation at the 140th ward secretariat in Guntur s Bharatpet.
Following the vaccination, Reddy was put under medical observation for a while. He later interacted with the doctors and the ward secretariat staff.
