Jammu:
An Army soldier, who was critically injured in Pakistani firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district last week, died of his injuries in the command hospital in Jammu and Kashmir s Udhampur district on Sunday, a defence spokesperson said.
He is the third Army personnel to have died in the ceasefire violations by Pakistan this month. Pakistan Army had resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the LoC in Sunderbani sector on January 18, which was responded to strongly by Indian troops. In the incident, Naik Nishant Sharma of 10 JAK RIF was critically injured and was under treatment at command hospital, the spokesperson said.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As the Cardwell Trial continues, a forensic pathologist who reviewed Celine Carreno s autopsy said an accidental death can t be ruled out.
Jared Cardwell faces murder charges in connection with Celine s death. He was the toddler s stepfather.
Dr. Evan Matshes is a pediatric forensic pathologist. Thursday he told the courtroom, when reviewing autopsies, a series of questions must be asked. He said in his line of work, doctors can t immediately determine abuse in a home.
When reviewing Celine s autopsy, he said, he had to ask himself could her subdural hemorrhage have been caused by a short fall on a playground or stairs?

Continuing the push for meaningful law enforcement reforms, Governor Tom Wolf today announced the members of the Pennsylvania State Law Enforcement Citizen Advisory Commission (PSLECAC) and the appointment of Sha S. Brown to serve as the Deputy State Inspector General for Law Enforcement Oversight. Brown will chair the commission.

Back in 2004, having come back from the desert twenty pounds and one wife lighter, I bought a small little place over in Largo, Florida where I had found post deployment work in the private sector. It was a pretty decent little house. With no spouse and an all-of-the-sudden bit of extra time on my hands, I decided to fix up the place. The first thing that had to go, was that nasty, puke colored carpet. Tearing it out and having it replaced was going to be time consuming and fairly expensive. However, once again I was reminded that God takes care of fools and drunks, and as all my friends, acquaintances and Class-B Dependents know, I am well qualified in both categories.
