Show Transcript WITH THE FLIP OF A SWITCH, THE DOOKER’S HOLLOW BRIDGE LINKING NORTH BRADDOCK AND EAST PITTSBURGH CAME CRASHING TO THE GROUND THIS AFTERNOON. THE IMPLOSION DELAYED TWICE BECAUSE OF THE SNOWY WEATHER THE EXPLOSIVE WERE SET, 96 CHARGES ALONG 54 LOCATIONS. AND THE BRIDGE CAME DOWN, AS FAR AS WE KNOW, ACCORDING TO THE PLAN. RYAN: THE COUNTY SAYS IT WAS MORE COST-EFFECTIVE TO BUILD A NEW BRIDGE, THAN TO REPAIR THE 80-YEAR-OLD STRUCTURE. NOW WORK BEGINS ON THE CLEANUP.
