Two musicians lose their lives in road accident Hanif Ahammed and Partha Guha. Arts & Entertainment Desk Arts & Entertainment Desk Renowned musicians, percussionists Hanif Ahammed and Partha Guha fell victim to a road accident today (March 13) at approximately 5 am on their way to a show in Cox s Bazar. The accident occurred in Chattogram s Mishorai, when a lorry hit their microbus from the opposite side. While Partha died on the spot, Hanif was declared dead in Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Hanif s brother, noted drummer Manik Ahmed, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. The duo had just finished a show in Chandpur, where eminent artistes Imran and Kona also performed. In the accident, artistes Beauty Khan, Nandan, Pappu and Tawhid were also critically injured. The deaths have brought an air of mourning in the musical fraternity,
