Jerry LeJeune started playing drums at age 13. After 50 years behind the kit as a professional musician, an accident claimed his right leg, nearly bringing his lifelong passion to an end. It didn’t take long for Jerry to get behind the kit and adapt his skills to resume the life he loves.
Recently, it appeared Jerry’s renaissance had come to an abrupt end. This time for an unrelated reason. Jerry had a severe headache with muscle spasms in the left side of his neck. The pain subsided enough for him to get some sleep later that night. When he awoke the following morning, his left hand, leg and foot were numb. That, too, subsided after a short time.
