Image Source: IANS News Jammu, April 20 : In the wake of surge in Covid-19 cases, the Jammu and Kashmir government has put 108 ambulances into service to facilitate the people round the clock. As per an official spokesperson, till date 1,653 Covid suspects have been shifted to hospitals for treatment and lives of 4,350 Covid patients have been saved. Adequate ambulances have been deployed in every district of the UT to evacuate Covid patients to nearby designated Covid Health Institutions. These ambulances are having essential drugs to deal with any medical emergency and are fitted with critical life saving equipments like Transport Ventilator, Monitors, Defibrillator and most importantly Oxygen Delivery System (ODS) with specialized stretchers for shifting critical patients.

The Group is looking for clinical staff (a minimum of 19.5 and maximum 39 hours per week) who are eligible to administer vaccines for an initial 3 month contract, which may be extended. The Group is also recruiting Health Care Assistants and administrative staff to support the vaccination centres. Vaccinations Centres will be located in Galway, Sligo, Letterkenny, Castlebar, Carrick on Shannon and Roscommon. The vaccination programme will run 7 days a week over a 12 hour day.

  The Saolta University Health Care Group is currently recruiting staff to support the roll out of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. The Group is looking for clinical staff who are eligible to administer vaccines for an initial 3 month contract, which may be extended. Specifically Saolta is looking for registered healthcare professionals including Nurses, Midwifes, Doctors, Advanced Paramedics, Paramedics, Emergency Technicians, and Pharmacists who are available to work a minimum of 19.5 hours per week to work in the COVID-19 vaccination programme. They are also recruiting Health Care Assistants and administrative staff to support the vaccination centres. Staff will be requested to work a minimum of 19.5 and maximum 39 hours per week.
