Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 infection in Belleville after two days without new cases.
That case was due to travel outside the region, the health unit noted.
City officials encourage residents to check on those who live alone.

Environment Canada’s forecast Saturday calls for an overnight low of minus 10C
The centre is activated when the temperature is expected to reach minus 10C. Beds and meals are not provided.
The centre in the former police station at 93 Dundas St. E. will be open from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Enter through the west entrance off of South John Street.
“Cold temperatures can lead to health complications such as wind burn, frostbite and hypothermia,” stated a Hastings Prince Edward Public Health release.
