Prince Philip died on Friday at Windsor Castle at the age of 99.
Hasina wished peace for the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved royal family, the Prime Minister s Office said in a statement on Friday.
The Duke of Edinburgh, as he was officially known, had been by his wife s side throughout her 69-year reign, the longest in British history. It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the palace said in a statement.

PRINCE Philip has died aged 99, Buckingham Palace announced today.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who had been married to the Queen for 73 years and described as her constant strength, passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle this morning.

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II, has died.
The longest-serving consort in British history and the oldest member of the royal family, Philip died peacefully Friday, April 9, at Windsor Castle. He was 99.

The news comes nearly two months after Philip was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London on Feb. 16. At the time, Buckingham Palace said in a statement that it was a precautionary measure recommended by his doctor after Philip was feeling unwell. He underwent a procedure for a pre-existing heart condition and received treatment for an infection, NBC News confirmed

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- The Royal Family has just announced that His Royal Highness Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh has died.
According to the royal statement, he died peacefully on April 9th, 2021 at Windsor Castle. He was born in 1921 and lived until the age of 99 as husband to Queen Elizabeth II for over seven decades.
