The representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Bahraini people on the National Action Charter (NAC) anniversary, which is observed on February 14.
In a statement marking the occasion, HH said that HM the King has presented a pioneering example through his reform project which is considered an unprecedented transformation in Bahrain’s modern history through the provision of an ideal model in democratic practice, economic and political openness, consolidation of the principles of coexistence and tolerance, a realization of social justice and promotion of freedom in various fields.

Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh has lauded the strong relations and close cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and South Korea.
Al Saleh, speaking during a round of talks with Korea’s National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seug currently on an official visit to the kingdom, said the Shura was interested in enhancing the bonds between the two countries, including exchanging legislative expertise between their two parliaments.
He briefed Speaker Park on Bahrain’s progress and comprehensive development across all areas during the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and on the significance of the National Action Charter initiated by HM the King and supported overwhelmingly by Bahrainis in a popular referendum.

Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the 20th anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC).
The minister affirmed that the National Action Charter was a milestone in the kingdom’s modern history at the political, economic and social levels, noting that the popular endorsement of the NAC reflected the distinguished national cohesion between HM the King and the people of Bahrain.

Information Affairs Minister and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIDP) Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi has lauded the wide-ranging development achievements attained by the Kingdom of Bahrain since the inauguration of the National Action Charter (NAC) two decades ago.
He said that the National Action Charter was the fruitful outcome of a pioneering royal initiative and an unprecedented popular consensus in a historic referendum approved by an overwhelming majority of 98.4% of the citizens, adding that NAC endorsement was a defining moment and a bright phase that led to the establishment of the state of law and constitutional institutions that supports democratic work and responsible media freedoms.

The Education Ministry yesterday celebrated the fifth edition of the Sports Day by implementing many sports activities and competitions while adhering to social distancing. Officials, employees and school students participated massively in the events, which were held remotely.
