A Portishead mum spat into a police officer’s eye in Bristol.
Jess Heath, of Briary Road, shouted “aggressively” and twice spat at police arresting her on September 24 last year.
The 30-year-old mum-of-three appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on February 25. She admitted assaulting and resisting PC Weekes when he was doing his duty.

A Bristol Harbourside resident has hit out at crowds appearing to breach lockdown near his home.
The 52-year-old says he saw three or four people urinating in corners while large groups gathered near Broken Dock between 2pm and 5pm yesterday (February 26).
He says he and other residents called police, but claims officers did not attend to disperse the gatherings – which are banned under coronavirus lockdown – for hours.
An Avon and Somerset police spokesman acknowledged there was a delayed response but said officers did disperse people.

An Amazon worker drank seven pints before driving on the M4 – then crashed and rolled his car.
Gareth Jones, of Clare Road in Speedwell, had relapsed after a long battle with alcohol addiction when his Vauxhall Astra collided with two other cars near the Pilning Interchange.
Wearing a fleece pullover, the Amazon engineer appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (February 25) and admitted drink-driving, without due care and attention.
Prosecutor Laura Opie said the 36-year-old dad-of-two crashed at about 10pm on July 9 last year.
