Gujarat grapples with oxygen shortage, private doctors seek CM s intervention SECTIONS Share Synopsis After shortage of Remdesivir over last couple of days, the private doctors on Tuesday shot off a letter to the State Chief Minister over serious shortage of oxygen and asked his immediate intervention. Pointing out that the pandemic situation is worsening by days in the state, Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) wrote that due to “sever shortage of oxygen supply in all Covid Hospitals,” “doctors are unable to treat patients who need oxygen.” Agencies AMA demanded that 100 percent of oxygen produced in the state be supplied to the health sector for the time being as human lives are at stake.
