Adelaide Metcalfe Approves 2021 Budget

LDN20110711DC Adelaide Metcalfe Township Council approved the 2021 Budget on Monday during a public meeting. The budget comes with about $4.13 million raised through taxation, up from $4.06 million in 2020 and right now the tax rate set to stay untouched. General Revenues are expected to decrease about 11% with $553,600 budgeted in 2021, the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund amount decreased as well around 14% from last year which continues the downwards trend of recent years. The budget for the administration is down 10% from last year, with the only major Administrative increase being for salaries and wages at $402,402, up 10% from last year reflecting the recent hiring of new CAO Morgan Calvert and also a hiring of a Treasurer in the near future.
