Inspection stickers won’t be available in Massachusetts until at least Wednesday as RMV vendor continues to deal with malware attack

The state will go at least a week without the ability issue inspection stickers following a malware attack on the vendor that aids the RMV in the process.
On Monday, the RMV announced the issue that began on March 30 and prevented the agency and small businesses from issuing inspection stickers will extend through at least Tuesday.
A malware attack on the RMV’s Wisconsin-based vendor, Applus Technologies, Inc., preventing Massachusetts and other states from performing inspections.
The RMV said it continues to press the vendor on a potential timeline of a return to service but has received no word.
