ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi on Wednesday said that by blanket shutdown and protest, the brave Kashmiri people have exposed the Indian plans aimed at misleading world opinion about the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Afridi expressed these views while addressing a national seminar regarding solidarity day with Kashmir at Women University Swabi. Senator Waleed Iqbal, columnist Mazhar Barlas, and Vice-Chancellor Swabi Women University Shaheena Urooj.
Afridi said that the Indian regime has arranged a staged visit today in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir but such scripted visits can never mislead the world opinion on Kashmir.

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that India under a well thought out strategy is erasing everything related to the history of Muslims or the religion of Islam in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP-RSS regime has hinted at building 100,000 Hindu temples and pulling down dozens of mosques which, they falsely claim, had been built after demolishing Hindu temples, he said.
Addressing the participants of Photographic and Cultural Exhibition, titled Tribute to Kashmiris Resilience in Their Just Struggle for Right to Self Determination organized at the Foreign Office; the state s president said that the Indian fanatic rulers were eliminating everything which depicted the religion, culture and the languages of the Muslims in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

ISLAMABAD / WASHINGTON: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday asked the Biden administration not to overlook the ground realities vis-à-vis occupied Kashmir as he urged the world to help in reaching a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute before it was too late.
He was speaking at a photography and cultural exhibition held at the Foreign Office as part of Kashmir Solidarity Day activities.
“I expect the new Biden administration that has always talked of fundamental human rights to stop ignoring the ground realities in held Kashmir,” the foreign minister asserted.

SRINAGAR: The posters and banners with Pakistani flags surfaced in Srinagar and other areas of the territory.
The posters were hoisted by APHC, Warseen-e-Shuhada-e-Jammu and Kashmir, and Jammu and Kashmir Students and Youth Forum. The Kashmiris staged rallies holding Pakistani flags and pictures of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. They were chanting slogans against India and in favour of right to self-determination.
The people of the Jammu and Kashmir took to the streets to mark the Solidarity Day being observed in Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the world.
Indus Water Cross Jeep Rally arranged

SWABI: The Indus Water Cross Jeep Rally 2021 was organised on Friday at the Indus River at Hund point in Swabi district to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren and highlight the Indian atrocities in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KP-CTA) under the aegis of Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Culture, Museums and Youth Affairs Department and the Frontier 4x4 Club had jointly organised the event.
Secretary Tourism Department Muhammad Abid Majeed was the chief guest on the occasion. Officials of the Tourism Department, Swabi district administration, Rescue 1122, jeep racers and a large number of spectators were also present.
