The woman accused of threatening an attack which would have surpassed the March 15 terror events will continue to keep her name secret, for now. The 22-year-old woman is charged with threatening to carry out a firearms and explosives attack against students in Dunedin on December 7 and 8 and appeared at the Auckland District Court on Friday. The charging document alleges she threatened a violent act that was of a “magnitude surpassing the March 15 Christchurch mosque massacres”. Her lawyer John Munro asked for her to be remanded without plea and for name suppression to continue, saying she would suffer extreme hardship if named.
