Tobias Webster appeared in the dock of Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 22. The 38-year-old, of Satler Close, Oxford, was charged with assault by beating a woman and common assault of a police officer on November 30. In the court documents, it said the offences were ‘so serious’ because he made the woman bleed and caused her ‘significant fear’. It also said his spit landed ‘near the police officer’s eye’ and in the ‘current situation is dangerous’. The magistrates jailed him for a total of 22 weeks. He was also ordered to pay £200 in compensation and was made the subject of a restraining order which bans him from going into part of Oxford and contacting the victim until 2024.
Woman JAILED for going into house of vulnerable resident A WOMAN has been jailed for breaching a restraining order. Rebecca Nuttall, of no fixed abode, has previously been banned from entering a house on Juniper Hill, in Banbury, or contacting the vulnerable resident who lives there. But on Wednesday, February 3, she was spotted going into the property and was charged by police officers the following day. LEWIS PIZZEY, 23, of Vanner Road, Witney, admitted driving at 76mph in a 50mph zone on October 3 in Yarnton. He was fined £369, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £37 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
JONATHAN ROYCROFT, 58, of Appleton Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone on Eynsham Road, Oxford. He was fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
CLARE SCHREIBER, 56, of Cleveley Road, Enstone, was convicted of driving at 42mph in a 30mph zone on the A4095 Grove Road in Baldon. She was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with four points.
The rider zoomed past police officers at 150mph in May last year.
