Police say Baker should not be approached.
“As police search for the individual, the public is asked not to report police locations or positions on social media,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“Only call 911 if you have seen Janson Bryan Baker or if you have information on his whereabouts. . . . Do not call 911 or police directly to seek additional information.”
The school district where the shooting occurred announced on social media early today that it had closed its facilities, including Riverview High School.
“All Anglophone East District operations will be closed Wednesday January 6th,” says the tweet sent out to 40 schools in the Moncton area.
