A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at another school in the Anglophone South School District.
Public Health says a case was confirmed at Dr. A.T. Leatherbarrow Primary School in Hampton over the weekend.
A letter sent to families Sunday says all students and staff and everyone in their household must self-isolate until 11:59 p.m. Monday, May 10.
The letter, signed by regional medical officer of health Dr. Yves Léger, said this will allow them time to complete contact tracing.
“This means that your child is not able to attend daycare and that you are not able to go to work. You are also not to receive any visitors at your home,” said Léger.

Just a reminder to parents and high school students.
A decision was made over the weekend by Public Health to postpone the return to full-time in-class learning that was expected to resume Monday, April 12.
This applies to high schools across the province.
Public Health says this was done to allow more time to conduct contact tracing and ensure current COVID-19 outbreaks are under control.
The Anglophone South School District says as a result, families who received notification of bus route changes can ignore them.
The original mask requirements will also remain in place. Students in kindergarten to grade five are not required to wear a mask on the bus, while students in grades six to 12 must wear a mask when seated with another student outside of their household, or when physical distancing is not possible.
