Republicans stand with the Chinese people and will continue to fight for their freedom and liberties. We must denounce anti-Asian hate crimes as un-American. Rightful anger and hostility for the Chinese Communist Party must not be directed at Asian Americans or the Chinese people. When we hold China accountable for the COVID-19 pandemic and for their egregious record on human rights, we must remember that it appears likely that the CCP unleashed this plague on the world, not the Chinese people, and certainly not Chinese Americans.
