Pair arrested after shooting on I-76 in Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. â Two people have been arrested in a shooting last week on Interstate 76 in Adams County, officials said.
Isaiah Cain Trujillo-Tucson, 22, and Alexis Mary Fernandez, 19, both of Westminster, each face a charge of attempted murder. Trujillo-Tucson also faces a menacing charge and Fernandez faces a charge of tampering with physical evidence.
The incident happened about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday near I-76 and Tennyson Street. Deputies learned that the victim was driving east on I-76 when a dark sedan approached her vehicle. Someone in the passenger seat of the sedan pointed a semi-automatic handgun at her car and fire multiple shots, according to the sheriff s office.
