Pet Dog Mauls 14-Year-Old Boy To Death, Police Kill Extremely Aggressive Canine
In a horrific incident, a 14-year-old boy was attacked and killed by his family dog in Minnesota.
The victim was identified as Dion Bush. According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place in the family s farm where they raised German Shepherds.
“The father was incapacitated with a medical injury so he wasn’t able to take care of the dogs himself,” Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Lt. Keith Van Dyke told the Pioneer Journal.
Authorities said that the boy went to look after the dogs on the day of the attack. When the teenager did not return for hours, his father called for him. The man then informed authorities about his missing son.

Battle Lake,
Minn.
According to an incident report released by the sheriff’s office, the attack occurred at around 3pm when the boy went into the yard to tend to the dogs.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a three-year-old Polish Long Hair Shepherd acting extremely aggressive
The animal has been put down for public safety and at the request of the family

Authorities on Monday identified the teenager who was fatally bitten by a dog in western Minnesota at the home where his family operates a breeding business.
Deon Bush was located by deputies midafternoon Thursday dead in the yard of the family s home near Battle Lake, the Otter Tail County Sheriff s Office said.
They also found a Polish long-haired shepherd that was extremely aggressive, according to an incident report released by the Sheriff s Office. Deputies said they believe the dog attacked the boy, and at the request of the owner and for public safety put the dog down, the report said.
