So we are now seeing just how fringy and extremist the delightful QAnons in our midst really are. They certainly appear to have a creative relationship with the truth. But, heh, who cares about the truth anyway? Isn’t it what the extremist California Patriot Coalition is telling us? They will pay to have 11,000 signatures collected for the recall of Supervisor Linda Parks, so beware.
But we are left to wonder just who is behind this ridiculous effort? My guess is a bunch of QAnons and malcontents that don’t wish to follow health laws (that just might save their lives.)

Pastor Todd Dunn had been urging “Faith over fear!” since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March. Just before Thanksgiving, he posted a message on Facebook dismissing precautionary measures advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for people to keep wearing masks and avoid gatherings with family members who don’t live in the same house.
Los Angeles County officials have lifted a ban on indoor religious services after a series of court rulings involving houses of worship that argued that the pandemic-related restrictions violate religious freedoms.
While county churches are again permitted to hold indoor services under the new policy, announced Saturday, they must still comply with other restrictions, such as social distancing and mask wearing.
The loosened public health guidelines come amid surging coronavirus infection rates and hospitalizations and as some churches continue to defy public health orders.
County officials, who had issued the order blocking indoor services early in the pandemic, continue to urge houses of worship not to meet indoors because it will increase congregants’ chances of contracting the coronavirus. The vast majority of churches have complied, but some have not.
