Monroe entered a tentative agreement with Buskirk after the Butler County Educational Service Center facilitated a superintendent search for the district, according to a Wednesday news release. Buskirk was one of 34 educational leaders who applied for the job. Robert was chosen from an incredible field of candidates from throughout the State of Ohio and it was his passion, wide array of experience and his great communication skills that made him stand above the other candidates, Monroe school board president Dave Grant said in the release.
Buskirk has previously served as assistant principal, principal and director of human resources at Lebanon City Schools, where he worked for 19 years. Before that, he taught at Lakota Local Schools and Sycamore Community Schools, where he also served as assistant principal, the release states. He received his bachelor s and master s degrees from Miami University and is a 2015 graduate of Miami s superintendent licensure program.

Starting in 2021, Electrolux will give $100,000 for three years for a new Anderson University College of Engineering.

McMaster’s visit, Electrolux announced a $300,000 gift to the Anderson University. Starting this year, Electrolux will give $100,000 for three years, becoming a cornerstone of support as the university develops its new engineering program.
