The 55-year-old actor died at the Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio, and confirmation of the news was delivered by the Montgomery County Coroner s Office. It is yet another sad death to hit the entertainment industry, with a number of unexpected passings in the last few months.

Mark York, the actor best known for playing Billy Merchant on the NBC sitcom âThe Office,â died last week in Dayton, Ohio. He was 55.
His death was confirmed by the Montgomery County coronerâs office, which said on Tuesday that he had died in a hospital of natural causes. Mr. Yorkâs family said in an obituary that he had died after âa brief and unexpected illness.â
