You ve got Blue Bell, you ve got Blue Bonnets, and you ve got baseball, Matt Danesi, the Visitor Center Manager at Blue Bell Creameries said.
At Blue Bell Creameries you get the chance to experience all three.
It all started in 1907 when some Brenham businessmen decided to make butter with the excess milk area farmers brought in. A few years later they began making ice cream and delivering it by horse and wagon. The rest, as they say, is history.

Aggieland Wild Animal Safari in the Bryan area calls itself the Serengeti of the South.
The park sits on 250 acres with room to grow and has been open for just under two years with roughly 700 animals. A lot of our animals in the pasture, they are actively breeding, and this is calving season, explained Assistant Pasture Manager Bonner Watson.

MEXIA, TX â As we saw in the Texas deep freeze a few weeks ago, the loss of an important service can have devastating effects, especially if you live outside one of the major cities in Central Texas.
People in Mexia learned about that loss early one morning when investigators say an arsonist torched the city library.
The sense of loss the city felt prompted them to pull together to recover, and its people learned a lot along the way.

There s battle flags like one that features a gruesome severed arm. There s the iconic Come and Take It flag. Stephen F. Austin suggested green and white and red stripes, with a sort of union Jack.

Veteran 25 News anchor Ann Harder stepped away from the news desk last year, but now, she is coming back with a new semimonthly segment connecting viewers with people, places, and things all uniquely Texan.
The station matriarch while in her 25th year with 25 News retired and stepped away from the anchor desk in 2020.
On March 2, 2021, she returns for Traveling Texas with Ann Harder continuing her passion for storytelling and journalism.
Harder started her television career with KXXV in 1996 after establishing a broadcasting career in radio.
