School District returns to 5-day in-person learning By WIS News 10 Staff | April 1, 2021 at 6:16 PM EDT - Updated April 1 at 7:17 PM ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Officials with the Orangeburg County School District has announced it will be transitioning to 5-day in-person learning beginning Monday, April 19. Schools will dismiss students two hours early on Fridays to allow student meal distribution services to continue for virtual learners. This time will also be allotted for teacher and staff planning, professional development, and collaboration. Student meal pickup will still be available at each school campus.

Orangeburg County School District transitioning back to five day in-person learning April 19 Apr 1, 2021 6:02 PM EDT COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Beginning April 19, officials with the Orangeburg County School District say they will be transitioning back to a five day in-person learning week for students. Students still have the option to finish the rest of the semester through Orangeburg Online if they choose. With this announcement, students will return to the classroom five days a week, but will be dismissed two hours early on Fridays to allow for meal distribution for virtual learners.
