BELLINGHAM, Wash. –It’s time to start planning summer events.
Bellingham Parks and Recreation will begin accepting reservations for some outdoor park events and uses on April 1.
Parks and Recreation Director Nicole Oliver said these plans are consistent with Phase 2 of the Governor’s Healthy Washington Roadmap to Recovery Plan, as well as Phase 3, which is expected to begin March 22, 2021.
Visitors can request reservable outdoor picnic shelters and outdoor event spaces for uses beginning June 1.
Indoor facilities are not yet available for reservations.
The county is opening reservations for the group camp at Silver Lake Park at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Yakima County is now in Phase 2 of the state's Healthy Washington Roadmap to Recovery after the Washington State Department of Health approved the move on Sunday.
