She d been in hospital with her son since he tested positive and Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says there is no risk to the community. The boy s father has also tested positive.
The family has been confirmed to have the Delta strain that is circulating in Sydney and has sent that city into lockdown.

The new cases mean the state s mask mandate will be extended another week in the south-east.
One case was a 12-year-old boy who completed quarantine in Sydney and flew into Brisbane on QF544 on July 9.
The 12-year-old boy s father also tested positive. The third case is a fully-vaccinated international airport worker.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the mask mandate would continue for another week for 11 LGAs, including Brisbane City Council, Logan, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim.
Restrictions would be eased for Townsville.

The Australian state of Victoria has recorded two new locally acquired cases of Covid-19 on Thursday after 10 new cases were recorded on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Queensland has recorded three new local cases of Covid-19 and will extend a face mask mandate for another week. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the three cases included a 12-year-old boy who flew into the state from Sydney on July 9, and his father. A fully vaccinated airport worker also tested positive, which was a major concern for Queensland authorities.
