State of Mexico,
January has been the most lethal month in the pandemic so far, with 24,401 deaths registered. The number can increase to 25 thousand deceased if the figure of 324 deaths in 24 hours is repeated when an average of 13.5 Mexicans died per hour.

Toluca doctor removed from position after vaccinating family with vaccines reserved for healthcare workers

Toluca, State of Mexico The Secretary of Health of the State of Mexico says that the director of the Lic. Adolfo López Mateos Medical Center has been separated from his position while under investigation.
The health secretary made the news public after the Toluca doctor was found to have vaccinated his family with Coronavirus vaccines meant for health care personnel.
The state secretary of health explained that Doctor José Rogel Romero was removed from his position as director while the corresponding procedures are carried out. An internal investigation by the Internal Control Body of the Institute of Health of the State of Mexico is underway.
