Stark County school employees are scheduled to begin getting the COVID-19 vaccine the second week of February.
Gov. Mike DeWine released a vaccination schedule on Friday for the Ohio school districts. School employees in 10 counties, including Summit, will get the first dose next week.
Stark County is among the 22 counties set for vaccinations in the second week.
Beginning Feb. 8, public school employees, as well as those at charter schools and private schools, will be in line for the shot.
Massillon City Schools is slated to begin administering the shot to employees at Washington High School on Monday. They will be the first school employees in the county to get the vaccine.
