Ugh. Have we always been this stupid and we re just seeing it more because of the Internet, or are we even dumber now than ever because of the Internet. Either way, we apparently need to let people know that getting the COVID-19 vaccine isn t going to cause magnets to stick to your arm. Someone tell this lady.
The fear is that there is a microchip in the vaccine and that s what s causing magnets to stick to your arm. Of course, if you watch this clip, you can see she leans back slightly which holds the magnet up on her arm. It also takes her a few tries to get it to stay. When her son comes in, she just slaps the magnet hard enough that it wouldn t stick unless there s an industrial size magnet under his skin.

The City of El Paso celebrated the 100-year anniversary of Scenic Drive last year with an early morning celebration. Now, with the days getting longer and the weather getting warmer, the El Paso Parks and Recreation Department has updated the Scenic Drive Scenic Sundays exercise hours.

It s officially been one year since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. It s also been one year of Disney holding my money hostage- but I digress.
One year ago, all of us on the show were pretty optimistic about the pandemic; despite the fact that we had gotten notice that places were closing down and events were being canceled. We had hope, hope that the lockdowns would last two weeks and that we were going to beat this coronavirus! I don t think any of us imagined the chaos that would follow- anti-maksers, protests, insurrections, etc.
Great news for Texans who have been waiting for their chance to register for the COVID-19 vaccine. Starting on March 15th, Texans who qualify under Phase 1C will be able to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, 93% of Texas fatalities directly caused by COVID-19 are in people 50 years old and older. Currently, people over the age of 65 years of age are allowed to register and receive the vaccine in the state.
State officials are hoping that expanding the eligibility age for the vaccine will help protect the vulnerable in that age group. Eligible individuals under Phase 1A and Phase 1B have been getting vaccinated in the state since December and people under A and B will continue to be vaccinated as well.
