Governor’s Awards presented for vital service in Covid vaccination Pic: Johnny Bugeja 30th April 2021 Professor Ian Cumming and Solomon Massias, two individuals who have played a very different but vital role in the Covid-19 vaccination programme have been recognised for their efforts by the Governor. The Governor Vice Admiral Sir David Steel awarded Professor Ian Cumming and Solomon Massias and family for services and support provided to the GHA vaccination programme. The new Governor’s Award for Merit was presented to two recipients in a small event at the Convent. Prof Cumming was instrumental in organising Gibraltar’s vaccination programme and said this was a great honour and humbling in many ways.
