DANNY PATA The Palace expects the Health Technology Assessment Council (HTAC) to issue recommendations for COVID-19 vaccine brands purchased by the government as long as the brands secure an emergency use authorization (EUA) from Food and Drug Administration (FDA), presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said. “Since nagbigay po sila ng positive recommendations sa paggamit sa Sinovac eh inaasahan din po natin na basta mayroong EUA ang bakuna ay magbibigay din sila ng positive recommendation. (Since HTAC gave a positive recommendation to Sinovac, we expect that they as long as the COVID-19 vaccine brand has been issued EUA, HTAC will give a positive recommendation),” Roque said in a Palace briefing.
