As previously reported, the hacked server contained vaccine data from pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and BioNTech. The EMA regulates the EU’s efforts for vaccine reviews and approvals of COVID-19 research, treatments and vaccines. Pfizer and BioNTech submitted their COVID-19 vaccine data to the regulator for approval prior to the attack.
