The police s involvement in the clashes at the Sarah Everard vigil on Clapham Common needs to be the subject of an independent inquiry, a former Met Police chief superintendent has said.
Dal Babu, who left the force in 2013 after 30 years service, told Sky News he was shocked by the way the police handled the event on Saturday night.
