OFRF, FFAR renew partnership to support organic research

Jun 15, 2021 to Jun 17, 2021 The Organic Farming Research Foundation and the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research renewed their partnership with a $66,000 grant from FFAR to support OFRF s 2021-22 organic research grant cycle. OFRF is providing matching funds for a total investment of at least $120,000 this grant cycle. We want people to think of organic wine as food, Jordan Sager says in the introductory video. The 18th annual conference, hosted by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, is the only statewide conference on organic agriculture. There are around 1,000 organic farms in Minnesota, serving both domestic and international consumers. Cassie Dahl, organic agriculture specialist with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, said the registration process for the conference just got underway, but the department is already starting to see registration forms roll in.
