Meghan Markle and Prince Harry s son is two today and members of the Royal Family, including the Queen, have taken to social media to send birthday wishes to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
Alongside the special message from the Queen, which reads Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 2nd birthday today. , the official Royal Family account also shared a photograph of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex holding Archie. The shot is one that was taken during the official photo call arranged just days after his birth, in lieu of Meghan following the royal tradition of posing with her newborn on the steps outside the hospital that she gave birth in.

It was on Tuesday 11 May that news came that the Duchess of Sussex had written a childrenâs book entitled
The Bench inspired by her husband Harryâs relationship with Archie. No doubt the Sussex household over in Montecito, Santa Barbara, are celebrating duly along with their dogs, Guy and Pula, and rescue chickens â as Archie keenly awaits the arrival of a younger sister.
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on 6 May 2019 at the Portland Hospital in London. He is currently seventh-in-line to the throne behind his father, Harry.

Happy Birthday, Archie! The adorable son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned two on Thursday and even though he s an ocean away from his extended family in the United Kingdom, the birthday boy still received lots of love.
The official Royal Family account, which represents Queen Elizabeth II, shared a sweet family photo of Harry and Meghan with their newborn son at Windsor Castle, writing, Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 2nd birthday today.

Prince Charles shared a black-and-white portrait of himself and his son, Harry, with Archie at his private christening.
The post included an image of Harry, Meghan and Archie who is the Queen s great-grandson taken shortly after his birth. Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, also wished their nephew a happy second birthday on social media. His grandfather, Charles, the Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, said in a Tweet on Thursday: Happy birthday to Archie, who turns two today. Megan revealed earlier this week that she has written a children s book, inspired by Harry and Archie. Titled The Bench, the 40-page illustrated book will be released on June 8 and tells the story of a special bond shared between a father and son, as viewed through a mother s eyes.
