In statements to the press along with his Tajik counterpart Sirojidin Muhriddin, the Russian foreign minister proposed to set up a joint commission for such purposes. Lavrov arrived in Dushanbe to participate this Wednesday in the ministerial meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, on May 12, a group of Azerbaijani soldiers advanced up to 3.5 kilometers into Armenian territory with the intention of demarcating a portion of the border, an action that was stopped without clashes were reported.
